Overview
Highland Falls lives up to its name with lofty elevation at more than 3,000 feet. Panoramic views of the Las Vegas strip are abundant throughout; the rolling hills of the front nine become steeper on the back side. Besides elevation changes, rich fairways and strategically placed bunkering makes each of Highland Falls’ eighteen holes fun, fair and challenging. Risk and reward golf shot opportunities are plentiful on the back nine.

Las Vegas native Jim Neighbors chose a career in golf for the same reason most do, he loves the game and enjoys teaching people how to play it or improve upon their existing game. He began his career in 1992 as Assistant Golf Professional at Golf Summerlin’s Palm Valley course. He also participated in opening both the Highland Falls (1992) and Eagle Crest (1995) courses for Golf Summerlin. Today, he serves as Head Golf Professional for Highland Falls course.
In 1997, Neighbors obtained his PGA Professional status and was promoted to Head Golf Professional at the Eagle Crest course. Later, he was named Head Golf Professional for the Highland Falls course as well. Further demonstrating his love of the game, Neighbors became a Class A PGA Professional in November 1997.
A favorite instructor among the patrons, Jim spends much of his time providing one-on-one instruction at Highland Falls. He also handles all purchasing and merchandising for all three Golf Summerlin courses.
In his spare time, Neighbors enjoys spending time with his three grandchildren, Liam, Oaklee and Abigail. He also enjoys movies and the occasional outing to one of Las Vegas’ many restaurants.
